Founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital, Canyon Vista Medical Center is located in the beautiful high desert of southeastern Arizona nestled comfortably in the San Pedro River Valley. Approximately 75 miles from Tucson, the hospital primarily serves residents in Sierra Vista, Ft. Huachuca, and Cochise County – a population of more than 131,000 people.
Canyon Vista Medical Center’s new, state-of-the-art facility was completed in 2015 and is well equipped to provide extraordinary care, close to home. The hospital features Emergency Services with a Level III Trauma Unit, Women’s and Children’s Services, Birthing Suites, a Level II Nursery, Intensive/Progressive/Acute-Care, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Surgical Services and an Outpatient Surgery Center, an Adult Psychiatric Unit, Advanced Diagnostic Imaging including 3D Mammography, Laboratory Services, Rehabilitation Services, Two Helicopter Pads and a Wound Care and Infusion Center, among other resources and services.

Sierra Vista, Arizona is located 75 miles southeast of Tucson and is the largest of 7 cities in Cochise County.
