Jim Davidson, CEO of Saint Mary’s Regional Health System, wanted to thank the staff for taking great care of their patients during this challenging flu season.
He shared powerful words of gratitude that were mounted on a poster, and he presented it to the ICU staff and thanked them personally.
Below is the note shared with SMRHS staff:
“The 2017 – 18 flu outbreak was especially severe, and I want to thank you, our Saint Mary’s and Millard-Henry Clinic team members, for your compassion and commitment to providing exceptional care during an exceptionally difficult season.
Maybe you worked an extra shift, or consoled a concerned loved one.
Maybe you went to great lengths in maintaining a safe, clean environment for everyone.
Maybe you risked your own well-being while caring for another.
Whatever your role, your professionalism and dedication to the health of our community during this time is appreciated. Thank you.
– Jim Davidson, CEO, Saint Mary’s Regional Health System”
