Birth Center Team Delivers an ORHC Nurse’s Baby
ORHC Nurse Welcomes Her Own Baby into the World Alongside Peers
As a nurse in the Ottumwa Regional Health Center Women & Family Birth Center, Alisha is part of the delivery process daily. But recently she was on a different side of the birthing process.
Alisha, husband Brandon, and oldest daughter Aubree just welcomed their second daughter Aliee, into the world.
“We chose ORHC to have our children because I knew I would get the best care. The staff listened to what I wanted and made me the priority. Everyone made Brandon feel a part of the whole process and that’s important. Plus, it’s close to home,” Alisha shared.
“We had great nurses from the very first to the very last. They care about the work they’re doing. It’s not just a career it’s a passion.”
“My experience as a patient was really good! The care I got was the care everyone gets, every day and that amazes me!” she exclaimed.
“The most important thing for people to know about ORHC is the great staff and exceptional care given here.”
“I enjoy having children, they bring so much joy. They let you see the world through their eyes and that’s the best part. I love every stage,” Alisha shared.
