Future Health Care Professionals Volunteer at ECM
VolunTeen Program Gives Students Opportunity to Grown into a Health Care Career
Nearly 40 volunteers, including high school and college students, have dedicated their time to volunteer at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital this summer. The VolunTeen program continues to grow, with this group being the largest in the teen volunteer program history.
Volunteers can be found in almost every department, performing duties in clinical settings, assisting with office work and providing support to patients and employees. The teen volunteers have been placed in departments depending on their interests. Many of the students are considering a future in the medical field.
We are honored that they spent their summer learning how to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, how ECM partners with their community and how we do business. The students are the future of health care!
