Some heroes wear capes… but not all. Some work (and occasionally must sleep!) at hospitals!
While residents of South Carolina braced for Hurricane Florence, Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, SC was ready.
The hospital team prepared for the storm by implementing their emergency management plan to guarantee continued services at CPRMC. The priority was keeping all patients, visitors and staff safe and secure.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, September 14th, the hospital implemented modified security procedures. This included locking down all entrances/exits except the Emergency Department entrance.
A team of physicians, nurses and support staff spent the duration of the storm on site away from their own families and loved ones to provide compassionate care for patients.
We are thankful for their commitment and their support – we are truly a work family that cares about our community.
