Collecting Undergarments for Southwestern

Alice Coombs Raises Money to Meet the Need

Hospital volunteer Alice Coombs, raised $221 through her RV club, to purchase undergarments for the children at Southwestern Behavioral Health.

Each year, Alice serves as host-of-the-month and chooses a charitable cause within the community. The chapter will then support that cause either by donating money or collecting specific items. Last year, Alice chose the children at SW Behavioral Health and her group, the Winnebago International Travelers (WIT) Sooner Schooners chapter, collected 62 pairs of socks.

The decision to raise money for undergarments was made after Alice asked the administrator at SWBH what the greatest need was that the children were facing.
