Saint Mary’s Staff Recognized for Service Excellence
Patient Thanks Nursing Staff with Floral Arrangements for Outstanding Care
It’s not often that an entire team of nurses can thoroughly and consistently deliver service excellence to a patient. But, that’s exactly what happened when patient Betty Martin spent more than a week in the medical telemetry unit at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Following her discharge, Betty sent 16 beautiful floral arrangements to the floor to recognize nursing staff on both the day and night shifts. The nurses were thrilled, displaying the arrangements throughout the nurses’ station for all to enjoy.
Marrlene Vanderboom, RN, Nurse Director for MedTele said, “Mrs. Betty’s flowers are a great reminder that we have a marvelous opportunity to enhance each patient’s experience and make their stay truly memorable. I am extremely proud of our team.”
