Herman Williams, MD
Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Williams serves as Chief Clinical Officer for RCCH and in that role oversees all quality, safety, and clinical activities for the company. Dr. Williams has a broad understanding of public health and policy issues, and vast experience working with physicians and clinicians across a healthcare system having previously served as corporate vice president for medical affairs at Vanguard, which was acquired by Tenet Healthcare. Before that, he spent five years at the company’s Baptist Health System in San Antonio. Dr. Williams graduated with honors and earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He also attended the prestigious Orthopedic Surgery Trauma Program at University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. He has a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Washington University Foster School of Business in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology at Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
