PRMC Director Teaches Trauma Prevention at Local Schools

Paris Regional Medical Center’s Director of Education, Diane Nation, RN, BSN, NE-BC, is a tenured nurse that always shows excitement and enthusiasm to teach others. Whether it’s teaching hospital nurses how to run a Code Blue, or teaching the Paris community the basics of CPR, Diane covers it all.
Recently, Diane attended Paris High School’s Career Day and Paris Jr. High’s Career Expo to showcase the importance of trauma prevention. She educated the students on the warning signs of heart attack and stroke, the importance of wearing a helmet when riding a bike, as well as Hands-Only CPR.
Diane has a passion for educating the community because she knows the importance of the material that she teaches. She believes that an informed mind could be another life saved!
