NPMC Nurses Teach Stroke Signs
NPMC Partners with UAMS at a Local Event
Two National Park Medical Center emergency nurses, Angie and Elizabeth, represented NPMC at “Strike Out Stroke” night hosted at a local park.
NPMC is proud to partner with the University of Arkansas for Medical Science (UAMS) as an AR SAVES (Stroke Assistance through Virtual Emergency Support) facility.
Angie and Elizabeth reminded attendees to know the stroke sign signs and “BE FAST.”

- E – Eyesight changes
- F – Face drooping
- A – Arm weakness
- S – Speech difficulty

We are proud that NPMC is partnering with the community to educate people about the signs of stroke!
