ED Nurses Macy and Angie are Recognized for Their Brain-Saving Efforts
National Park Medical Center Emergency Department Nurses, Macy and Angie, received “Stroke Champion” Awards in recognition of their brain-saving efforts in Stroke care. Their quick thinking and dedication to quality care ensured that a patient experiencing an acute stroke was diagnosed and given the clot-busting agent, TPA in a timely manner. In addition to the certificates, they also received badge pins saying “I Saved a Brain” from AR SAVES, the Arkansas Telestroke Network.
